The first sign of spring presents the early budding of flowers and the early sighting of robins with their warm and colorful feathers. The abstract version of the branches are played against the more defined version of the robins. The background is both cool and warm, with blues and teals and touches of frost transitioning from winter to spring hues. Most of the paint has been applied with a palette knife, adding texture and depth.
